  甲胺是醫(yī)藥、農(nóng)藥、溶劑、染料、樹脂、橡膠和炸藥的原料,還可用作染料助劑、催化劑、阻聚劑和抗氧劑,用途十分廣。

  工業(yè)上通常是在氧化鋁、氧化硅一氧化鋁之類的硅鋁催化劑存在下,將甲醇與氨連續(xù)反應(yīng)來制造甲胺。反應(yīng)一般是在高壓和300~500℃溫度范圍內(nèi),在氣相中進(jìn)行。反應(yīng)產(chǎn)物一甲胺、二甲胺和三甲胺分布接近熱力學(xué)平衡組成,三甲胺含量最高,一甲胺和二甲胺較低,這類催化劑一般稱為平衡型催化劑。由于二甲胺在工業(yè)上廣泛用作化學(xué)中間體,因此,甲醇或二甲醚胺化反應(yīng)的最主要目的產(chǎn)物是二甲胺。為提高二甲胺產(chǎn)量、降低三甲胺產(chǎn)量,工業(yè)上通常采用將多余的三甲胺進(jìn)行循環(huán)、調(diào)整原料氮/碳比和應(yīng)用改進(jìn)的催化劑。

  Methylamine is a raw material for pharmaceuticals, pesticides, solvents, dyes, resins, rubber, and explosives. It can also be used as a dye additive, catalyst, polymerization inhibitor, and antioxidant, with a wide range of applications.

  In industry, methanol is usually continuously reacted with ammonia to produce methylamine in the presence of silicon aluminum catalysts such as alumina and silica alumina. The reaction is generally carried out in the gas phase under high pressure and a temperature range of 300-500 ℃. The distribution of reaction products such as monomethylamine, dimethylamine, and trimethylamine is close to thermodynamic equilibrium composition, with trimethylamine having the highest content and monomethylamine and dimethylamine having lower content. These types of catalysts are generally referred to as equilibrium catalysts. Due to the widespread use of dimethylamine as a chemical intermediate in industry, the primary target product of methanol or dimethyl ether amination reactions is dimethylamine.
